UCL 351 - Research Methods 3 Credit Hours
This course introduces the theories and methodology of action research, descriptive statistics, and the use of primary and secondary resource materials placing special emphasis on research ethics and embedding research within community development practice. Students will learn to utilize various research methods including basic interview techniques, survey methods, and quantitative analytical methods to complete a research proposal measuring urban phenomena.
